Apple Butter in the Making

Cheers to Autumn Baking and Cooking. Tea from the kettle staying warm in a gorgeous teapot to sip on while we fill the air with the indulgent aromas of the season. Not only have I now made applesauce, juice and turnovers from scratch this season but my mom and I also made homemade apple butter.! A lot of apples this year. Trying to find my signature Autumn flavor because, yes I know...what?!, pumpkin is just not it. Though, I did just try those pumpkin spice truffles and those were very subtle and delicious. I try every year to force myself into liking pumpkin and it hasn't worked yet. I am thinking apple and maple are my go too.

A Trip to the Apple Orchard

Daddy had a Friday off which called for a trip to IHop for breakfast where baby tried pancake for the first time! Only a couple tiny nibbles but we will get there.

About me

I am a 26 year old momma to a 8 month old. I have been married for coming up on 2 years, 11-11 and we just bought our new house. I have an 11 year old pup and 2 kitties. This blog is a way for me to share my life and have a little keepsake of what it's been like. My creative outlet if you will. I have always wanted to make home, family and cooking YouTube videos or tiktoks but never had the confidence or proper equipment. This is the year (though I wanted until almost the end lol) that I just do it because who cares how professional it is. This is simply my life...not professional...totally unfiltered. This is me.
